What is going to happen on September 8, 2009?

September 8, 2009 is International Literacy Day, raising awareness of literacy around the world. North Korea will celebrate its National Day, commemorating the country's 61st year of independence with parades and festivals. In the entertainment world, the albums of Julian Lennon will be re-released, and the brand-new series, "Melrose Place" will debut on the CW Network.
