NEW DELHI, India (CNN) -- A portion of a partially built bridge for New Delhi's metro rail network collapsed Sunday, killing five people and injuring 15, authorities said.
The crash occurred when a metal beam supporting pillars gave way, Delhi Metro Rail Corp. spokesman Anuj Dayal told CNN. Concrete slabs came crashing down, burying workers beneath, officials said.

Either way this story is scary. Accusations of Cheney ordering the CIA to hide intelligence projects from congress disables the checks and balances that should be normally in place. However, the fact this story even became public is a testament to why most are skeptical about the congress ability to keep secrets.

I think the most important news is happening in places where we can't get the entire story. 1. What's happening in Tehran

2. What's happening in North Korea

The most important American political news story for Sunday July 12th is the accusations of a lack of checks and balances between the executive and legislative branch of government. Either way this story is scary. Accusations of Cheney ordering the CIA to hide intelligence projects from congress disables the checks and balances that should be normally in place. However, the fact this story even became public is a testament to why most are skeptical about the congress ability to keep secrets.
