Today I slept from 7:00AM to 3:00PM. What can I do to make sure I can wake up well tomorrow at 8:00AM?
Are over-the-counter pills like Tilenol PM healthy and effective, for instance?

Hi,
First off, you might want to go get some exercise immediately so that your body has a chance to be a little worn out by the time bedtime rolls around. Make sure not to drink any caffeine today either so your body will be more likely to go to bed at a decent hour after sleeping all afternoon.
As far as Tylenol P.M. goes, yes it safe and effective as long as you take them only as directed. Make sure to take them within 20 minutes of going to bed so that you will be laying down when they take effect. Tylenol P.M. is made from an antihistamine called diphenhydramine HCl which makes you sleepy, however it also contains Acetaminophen which is a pain reliever. If you want just the diphehydramine HCI without the added pain reliever, you can simply try Benadryl.
You can also try Unisom which is made up of a sedating histamine called Doxylamine Succinate. This is the same ingredient found in nighttime NyQuil only without the cold medicine added.
Again, take either one of these only as directed.
Sweet dreams!
