To anyone that has read both, Which is better Grapes of Wrath (GW) or East of Eden (EE)? And why?

I love Steinbeck :) In my opinion, Grapes of Wrath is much better. It captivated me, and I cared alot more about what was happening, and what was going to happen, than I did with East of Eden.
