Thoughts please...

For an assignment in Family Finances I was supposed to read the book The Automatic Millionaire and write a paragraph or two about every chapter. Since finances is a hobby of mine, I ended up with 11 pages of my opinion and a summary of what the book contained- instead of a 2 to 4 page asked for. Should I turn it in anyway or should I try to cut it down?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Turn it in without cutting it down, the teacher will most likely be impressed. Unless there were any explicit restrictions, go for it.

The teacher kind of seems like a control freak. The assignment is supposed to be 2 to 4 pages.... but while the teacher seems like a control freak, she doesn't grade any of the assignments- an assistant does. So now I'm even more confused. I like your advice though :D

I would write a second paper that summarized the first and turn them both in. There is a good chance that you will get some extra credit for this. A lot of teachers love this kind of stuff, because it is a reflection of their teaching and motivating abilities.

That's a good idea.

It's an online course though- so I can only turn in one "paper" per assignment. Should I just divide it between the actual assignment and then have a note that says the following are my thoughts on this book?
