about Arabic
this may sound like an odd request....but i am looking for commands in arabic to use when training dogs. just the basic commands...
basic commands like..sit, stay, heel, come, lay down, leave it, drop it.......i am tired of training in german and since i am learning arabic while reading the qu'ran....i thought training in arabic only made sense.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I studied Arabic many many years ago.
(my girlfriend trained her dog in Polish. It's cool that you also trained your dog in German)
For the word "come" I would use "yalla" which means to "come quick". I just like the sound of that word (the sounds of the words are important when training dogs)
For other commands:
sit = ijlis
stay = waggif
come = ta-aal (more common)
down = tahat
If your dog is giving you a hard time, you can always say
"heesh jahash lubud" which means "hurry up you lazy donkey"
Good luck with your multi-lingual hound!
