Thinking about getting my girlfriend a ring for our 3 year anniversary - not engagement - just a nice ring...any suggestions?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My son has had several girlfriends and bought each one a friendship ring (he's a silly romantic). He purchased a ring for his current g/f at the Swarovski store at our local mall (can also be found online at www.swarovski.com). I must say that this ring sparkles like nothing I've ever seen - it is just gorgeous and cost $89. Also one tiny stone fell out and Swarovski replaced the whole ring - no questions asked !

I don't know your girlfriend, but it doesn't seem like the best idea to get a woman you have been with for three years a ring that's NOT an engagement ring. If you want to get her jewelry, I would suggest you go with some earrings even a necklace. Something more unusual but pretty could be a nice bracelet. I would check out Tiffanys.com for a start then go price shopping from there.

A Claddah ring is a great option. It is a traditional Irish ring that used to be given as an engagement ring, but is now worn by many people for various reasons. If worn on the right hand heart facing out it means your heart is open (not in a relationship) if the heart is worn facing in your heart is taken ( in a relationship but not engaged) The classic ring is made of a heart held by two hands with a crown above it - to symbolize love, friendship and loyalty.
I got one for my finace before we were engaged from
www.allcladdagh.com - it came within 4 days and is of a great quality.
