You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No matter what it looks like, it worked!
It got me to go to http://twitter.com/nakedpizza/ to take a look simply BECAUSE no further information or coupons or sales were on the billboard ad.
Although I had heard of this startup recently on http://www.blogmaverick.com/ winning startup money toward becoming a franchise from Mark Cuban, I probably would not ever have looked for them again until they were available locally - maybe ten years from now?????
This creates buzz, now it makes me remember that I had read that they were doing a pilot test to send multi packs of frozen pizza, with free air costs so it would be interesting if and when that starts up.....
The sign simply did it, it brought the company to everyone's attention.
You can easily remember the twitter address nakedpizza
I bet it will be fantastic viral advertising for them!
Raising the profile globally can only speed up their franchise growth.
GOOD FOR THEM!!!!!!!!
AHA! Found the COUPONS! Fyi, did a net search for "naked pizza" andl they are available at the official home page http://www.nakedpizza.biz/
you just have to enter your email - VERY CLEVER, you will automatically keep in touch with Naked Pizza forever that way..........
GO NAKED PIZZA! Hope to see you soon locally! They sound so healthy -
and you never have to eat that probiotic yogurt again! :-)

M$Billboards advertising food rarely look exactly what you receive anyway.
When I leave the house to go get food, I am usually 100% sure where I am going. A billboard with a picture of food wouldn't sway me.
They can also get feedback from their customers, maybe new pizza ideas, or other suggestions. All free, through twitter.

M$If they get you to sign up on Twitter and follow them who are you going to order pizza from when browsing the internet? Twitter is becoming more mainstream, they pick up geek cred. for jumping on the Twitter bandwagon. When you see a Naked Pizza tweet offering a Twitter coupon for a medium pizza, wings and a couple of cokes I suspect you might suddenly get a craving for pizza.

M$That doesn't mean they shouldn't have their Twitter address on every receipt, every menu, every delivery vehicle, every email they send out, and all over their social media pages wherever they have them. That's pretty much either free or bundled into the cost of something they're already doing.
See, a billboard is static. Twitter is viral, and seems a bit backwards to be advertising that they're viral on a static service.
They'd be better advised to use their Twitter account to send out frequent, unique tweets related to their service, pizza, Italian connections, their community, etc. Make it a value-added thing, or even run contests through Twitter, or make coupons you can get ONLY if you follow them. That would be the way to more wisely use their advertising money, even if they own the sign.
Not that I don't think that a Twitter sign is cool! I'm definitely enough of a geek for that. I just don't think it's the best use of their money or their Twitter account.

M$Everyone is all abuzz about Twitter right now so using a billboard that may initially look like a Twitter ad will certainly catch people's attention. And while they're looking there, they'll notice that it references Naked Pizza's Twitter page which will draw in more traffic.
It's also smart in the sense that it's connecting their business to something that people are already talking about, which in turn will make people talk about them some too. They even got you to ask a question about it!
All press is good press. Sure, they could have went with a traditional billboard and showcase some of their pizza or offers, but would we be talking about Naked Pizza right now if they had gone that route?
