There used to be a way to call a cell phone...
Does anyone know/remember how to do this?
Pound and star do not work from a landline.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
Forward calls to another phone number such as a business or residence. Most service providers add call forwarding to handsets upon activation of service.
Press designated keys such as the asterisk key followed by a set of numbers. Put in the phone number where the user wants calls forwarded. This step varies according to the user's cell phone service provider.
Push "Send" and then wait for a message or tone to confirm the command. Press the "End" key to finish the process.
Practice calling the user's cell phone number to hear the alternate voicemail service that should be different from the cell phone's mail message system.
Disable call forwarding by repeating Steps 1 through 3. Then push specific deactivation keys established by your cell phone service.
Tips and warning:
*
Cell phone etiquette suggests avoiding voicemail as a way to refrain from talking to people.
*
Some service providers charge fees such as airtime and long distance for calls forwarded to phone numbers outside the user's local service area.
*
Generally, the cell phone will not ring until the user disables call forwarding.
*
Hearing a busy signal after completing the call forwarding process means the procedure failed and needs redoing. Put in a test call immediately following the set up to make sure it worked.
