It will end once the West and the Catholic Church stop using Africa as their own personal playground.
Right now I'm particularly annoyed at the Church. The Pope in his visit to Africa, made a fuss about how condoms can't be used to curtail the spread of HIV. taking away attention from other issues like hunger and ethnic and political conflicts while indirectly contributing to making the AIDS epidemic worse.
If everyone just uses Africa as a way to push their agendas, there will never be stability, and outside forces will keep making Africa's problems worse in order to advance their goals.
