There are plenty of great colleges in the Northeast to get undergraduate training in Tech Theater and for Acting. The best school for you is the one you choose and feel comfortable at, and in the end it is what you make of it. Many of the reputable acting programs focus on the stage, and others have film and television programs. Community colleges may be a better deal, and then there are reputable colleges and universities with well established programs. You may be able to start at a community college and transfer to a four year school.
