The Witcher is a good game ?

The Witcher is already a pretty old game. It was first released in 2007, only for the PC. At that time, I played it a bit, but didn't really like it. It's one of those many 3D games that were released at that time.
While The Witcher tried to do things differenty, making the 3D action game in to a RPG (a bit like Oblivion), it never was as good as that, and to me it was quite a disappointment.
With an overall score of 81% (Metacritics), it was actually pretty well received by the critics. Now, with progressing hardware and gameplay, AND with the reduced pricetag (you should be able to pick up the game for $5), it is well worth giving it another shot.
