The store will lose there liquor license. I asked a liquor store after trying to return unopened alcohol to Kroger. The employee and manage
mentioned the state ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, & Explosives). I asked a federal ATF personnel, and he told me that different states make different laws. This was in Michigan. I asked the same store in Indiana.
