The San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns have met on five different occasions with San Antonio going on to win four of the playoff meetings.

The last time the Suns were able to beat the Spurs in a playoff series was 2000 when Tim Duncan was not able to play due to injury. Do the Phoenix Suns finally have the depth and the outside shooting to keep the Spurs off balanced and advance to Western Conference Finals for the first time in five seasons?

Absolutely, jt! As evidenced in the first two games! Only about 7% of teams down 0-2 have come back to win a best-of-7!

More importantly, though, Los Suns are playing well and are matching up well against Los Spurs. Channing Frye is containing Tim Duncan, for example.

'Course, we'll see. Folks in San Antonio are calling it "Desperation Time" tonight. Los Suns need to feel that same sense of urgency if they're going to go up 3-0.

I agree with Kerry, Larry Brown can be a good candidate for the Chicago Bulls. Brown is capable of coaching either a rebuilding team or strong playoffs contender team or championship contender team. He is indeed versatile. In fact he already amassed many accolades, and achievements. He is the fourth winningest coach in the NBA, a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, and steered Charlotte Bobcats to this year’s NBA 2010 Playoffs. He also earned the distinction of coaching an NCAA Champion (Kansas 1988) and NBA Champion (Detroit Pistons).
He is well loved and his virtuousness in coaching is indeed outstanding.
If ever Brown will be given the opportunity to coach the Chicago Bulls major changes will take place and expect that the already strong Chicago Bulls will turned into a more fiercer and a more powerful team.
Remember that it was him that first discovered the potential of Chauncey Billups whose shoot first pass second mentality made teams trades him. But that was changed as soon as Brown mentored Billups. The beleaguered guard became one of the most potent and feared shooter in the league today and finally discovered the ways to be effective on his game.

I guess I pasted the wrong answer here... sorry for the fuss...

Here is my answer to this question:
The tide now has changed. The San Antonio Spurs is no longer the team with still young and formidable Tim Duncan. While Duncan is slowly losing his dominance in the painted area, the Suns are playing consistently over the years. With this series already had its conclusion the Spurs went on lose to the fast-paced and offensive minded Phoenix Suns in the second round of the NBA 2010 Playoffs in the Western Conference. The Suns swept and eliminated the hapless Spurs team 4-0 The Sun’s up tempo and run and gun game surely demolished the Spurs that love to play half court to take advantage of their edge in height. Although the games was not decided by neither a big or small lead, the Suns played enough to subdue the team that won four NBA titles.
With their convincing performance against the Spurs, the Suns earned the right to face the Los Angles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
The Suns is currently trailing the defending champion Lakers 1-3.
