The Orlando Magic swept the Charlotte Bobcats in the first round of the playoffs giving them a full eight days to prep for Atlanta.

Will the rest be a positive or a negative for the Magic against the Hawks? If the Hawks are able to keep Howard in foul trouble as the Bobcats were able to, will Atlanta pull off an improbable upset to advance past the second round of the playoffs for the first time in years?

I think the full eight day rest will be great for the Magic, as long as the players stay out of trouble. Howard will be able to take some deep breaths, calm down, and get ready to stay out of foul trouble. They will need to keep their momentum going against Atlanta. This isn't going to be another sweep if Howard gets into foul trouble. The less time Dwight plays, the better for the Hawks. Even without a lot of time for big Dwight Howard, it is still going to be hard for Atlanta to pull off 4 wins. I'm predicting a possible 1 or 2 losses for the Magic in this series, it's still unlikely that Atlanta will advance.

The eight days rest was important for this makes the Orlando Magic players fully rejuvenated while their opponent Atlanta Hawks took them seven games to boot out Milwaukee Bucks which proves to be taxing and tiring.
With the Bucks pushing the Hawks to the limit, they stand no chance against the stronger and well-rested Orlando Magic. The Magic shut out the Hawks on the second round of the NBA Playoffs in the Eastern Conference 4-0.
The Magic’s average winning margin was 25.0 points, which shows how dominating the Magic was over their unfortunate opponents. Dwight Howard, Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson were all pumped up in the series and it seems that the Hawks has no answer to the tenacious game showed by the Magic. Rashard Lewis and Mickael Pietrus provided the outside sniping for the Magic that also played key role in the blow out wins.
The Hawk’s poor shooting truly hurt them and they cannot get past the stifling defense put up by the Magic.
