The Orlando Magic beat the Charlotte Bobcats by 42 points in game one of their playoff series.
While this was an impressive victory to say the least, it was not the largest margin of victory for the Magic in the playoffs. Can you name the largest playoff victory margin for the Magic and who the victory came against?

The Orlando Magic’s biggest margin of victory in a playoff game came in 1995 against the Boston Celtics in the first game of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Orlando won the game 124-77 and then lost game two 99-92. The Magic ended up winning the series three games to one, then beat the Chicago Bulls in the next round four games to two, and were able to overcome the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals in seven games.
Despite possibly looking like a team of destiny, the Magic were no match for the Houston Rockets in the NBA finals, getting swept in four games.’
That particular Magic team was only in its fifth year of existence after entering the league in 1990 and featured a starting five of Shaquille O’Neal, Anfernee Hardaway, Horace Grant, Nick Anderson, and Donald Royal.
Both O’Neal and Anderson scored over 20 points in that 47 point win, and Grant and O’Neal each hauled down more than 10 rebounds.

Great response. Besides the Bulls I thought the Orlando Magic had a chance to be one of the talented teams in the East before trading Shaquille O'Neal following the 95-96 season.
