Pixi known as "little fairy" as per legend, they are not just harmless but also lend their help to needy human. Pixi like music and dancing. In Disney animation - Peter Pan (1953), the womanly figure fairy Tinker Bell is described as a Pixi.
I guess Palm Pixi was named after "helpful companion, like dance & music (for its multimedia capability), and freedom (wireless connecttivity)". Haha!

Seriously I think the name Pixi is growing on me.
Perhaps it is my years of playing RPGs but I have it in my head that a Pixie is a cute & fun companion & the above spelling may make the name easier to trademark.
