On a worldwide scale it is, since the NBA is also famous in may parts of the world now, and many old time fans would say that Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics rivalry is the best.
In my point of view I consider this rivalry as the best in the world, for without it probably the NBA is not very popularity. Rivalry will spur attention and interest of the fans.
History really repeats itself as basketball will be on top of the sporting headlines worldwide, and what makes the championships is because of the rivalry that was hatched many years ago. The championship series made me reminisce the good old days where Larry Bird and his gang are up against Magic Johnson and his Lakers mob.
This series have what it takes to become historic and one of the most memorable in the league’s history.
Now it is Kobe Bryant and the Lakers and Paul Pierce and the Celtics. My pick is as good as yours…
