The Jazz were able to play the Lakers tough in Game 1. Is Game 2 the best opportunity for the Jazz to steal a road game in this series?

This question can easily be answered since this series was already decided. The Utah Jazz was simply outclassed by the talented defending champion Los Angeles Lakers as they absorbed a 0-4 drubbing. The Jazz lost to the Lakers 94-104, 103-111, 110-111 and 96-111. Games 1 and 3 was close, and if Game 1 was won by the shorthanded Utah Jazz it could’ve change the complexion of the series. Game 3 could’ve also gone either way, the Lakers bleed for this win as they escape with just one point lead and virtually gained a huge 3-0 on their series. There is no team yet in NBA that managed to recover from a 0-3 deficit and won the series. With the Jazz morale at its lowest and certainly affected by injuries, the Game 4 staged in Salt Lake City was a clincher for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Jazz is definitely missing the services of forward Andrei Kirilenko and center Mehmet Okur. If these two key players of the Jazz are healthy they could’ve been a threat in the NBA playoffs.
Currently the Lakers are leading in their Western Conference finals series with the Phoenix Suns 2-0.
The Jazz team’s heart and finding spirit was awesome and if they have a healthy line-up expect them to be a strong contender in the next season (NBA 2010-2011 season).

Well, this question is obviously pretty easy since game two has been over for quite a while now. Unfortunately the Utah Jazz didn’t really put up much of a fight at all in the series as they lost four games to none.

The Jazz really only put up a decent fight in game three of the series, in the first game back in Utah after getting their butts handed to them in game 2. Los Angeles, has looked like one of the best teams in the league since the playoffs started and have romped through the rest of the rounds with very little challenge from their opponents. At least the Jazz weren’t absolutely blown out in any of the games, and while moral victories don’t mean a whole lot in sports. I guess technically, game 2 was as close to a win on the road as the Jazz got in the series so the answer to the question would technically be yes.
