Here is a quote from M & C News: "Fifty anonymous nuclear workers - the equivalent of a normal day shift at the north-east Japan nuclear power plant - have stayed behind to fend off an impending nuclear disaster. They are risking their lives. And with each passing hour, it appears to be more and more a mission without positive outcome."
They are dubbed as the Kamikaze Deployment team and they are doing this out of Japan's culture of honor and loyalty to their society. Here's the story:

As far as their names, read this news report: "Tokyo Electric has refused to release the names or any other information about the 50 workers who stayed behind, nor have utility executives said anything about how they are being relieved as they become tired or ill."

Things are not as bad as Chernobyl, but if it gets worse the Fierce 50 could all die within months of radiation poisoning. Let's hope and pray for the best.
