The Federal Government is running a Trillion dollar deficit. Critics say our grandchildren will pay for it.
When the time comes the government will just print more money. How are they going to pay for it?

Someone has to pay for this deficit. Those people are probably going to be in my generation.
The government could print more more but when they do the value of the dollar goes down even more. Sooner or later the value of our dollar compared to the value of another country's currency, such as China, will be less. It would make paying of the deficit so much harder. So in other words, the government can't just print money to get out of debt. I doesn't matter when, US tax payers will pay for this deficit.
