The Damned or The Buzzcocks?
I'm a huge fan of almost all punk rock, but lately I've been on this sorta late 70's/early 80's kick. Besides the Clash, I think these two bands are the most influential of this era. Personally I think The Damned is the best band to ever grace this planet with their presence, but I'm also a big Buzzcocks fan. I'd like to know what you guys think.

The Buzzcocks have one of the perfect punk/pop songs 'Ever Fallen In Love' and have contined to write and record some great music; The Damned began as one of the best of the earlier British punk bands before branching out into psychedelia and even progressive rock. It's close - it depends on when you ask me as I've changed my mind as I've been typing this! - but I'm going for... The Damned.
