Wholesome and Natural and GOOD FOR YOU.

Here is my favorite HOMEMADE ice cream. Vegans, vegetarians can enjoy this Ice cream as well!

Island Druids Sea Weed Ice Cream:

2 cups soaked almonds – to make almond milk
3 cups of water
1 cup soaked Irish Moss (not a moss but a sea weed)
1 cup agave nectar
1 tsp vanilla powder or liquid
3 pinches of Royal Himalayan Pink Crystal salt or natural Sea Salt crushed.
½ cup coconut oil (if not using Hemp seed oil then use 1 cup coconut oil and no Hemp seed oil)
½ cup Hemp seed oil

Prepare the Irish Moss:

Place your Irish Moss into a tall container. Rinse well 3 or 4 times. Soak the Irish Moss in lukewarm water for a few hours. The Moss is ready when it has a creamy white color, looks sort of gelinous, and nearly double the size and weight from its dry state. Remove any dark spots.

Ice cream:

Blend or Juice almonds and water to make almond milk; keep the almond pulp for use in other recipes.

Blend 1 cup of almond milk with the Irish Moss until completely smooth.

Add all other ingredients (if flavoured add them now); NOTE: slowly add oil(s) last.

Pour into a freezable container and freeze overnight. When ready, scoop and enjoy with fruits, raspberry sauce, raw chocolate sauce etc.

Flavoured ice cream:

1. Heavenly Chocolate: add 1 cup cacao powder, a pinch of orange zest and 1 cup agave nectar
2. Chocolate chip Minty Mint: add 1 cup of finely minced mint leaves, 1 cup of cacao nibs or natural chocolate bits after blending
3. Banana: add 1 cup of banana pulp, lower the water by 1 cup
4. Mango: add 1 cup of mango pulp, lower the water by 1 cup

When I was a kid our neighbor used to make her own pistachio ice cream. I am not sure what her recipe was, but it was definitely hands down better than any store bought or restaurant ice cream I've ever had.

When I saw your question, first come to mind is my favorite ice cream in the world "Avocado Ice Cream". I have always love avocados whatever way they're done. But pardon me I have no talent in ice cream making but I want to share you this avocado recipe which I found and I am sure I'll try to make a homemade ice cream , thanks to your question (craving the taste of the creamy avocado ice cream, now), asap because it looks so simple and the photo looks so tempting.
