The 2010 Camaro ... does it capture the spirit of the earlier, now classic models?
The Camaro has such a grand legacy ... as a muscle car, as a sporty symbol of youthful spirit that evolved through different generations. Looking at the 2010 Camaro, it's a nice looking modern car but I'm not sure I feel it measures up. What do you think?
When you look at the modern Camaro, does it evoke a modern expression of youthful spirit and/or muscle car audacity to you? If so, what aspects of the new car make you feel that way? Answers should include specific details of the new car's look. More gearhead/technical observations also welcome, but keep in mind you are talking to a girl :-)

The 2010 Camaro definitely retains the image of the all-American muscle car driven for fun and delight. The new Camaro was designed to be reminiscent of the older version of the 1960’s and is intended to appeal not only to the newer generations of individuals shopping for sporty cars, but also to the baby-boomers who still remember the original Camaros and their bulky design. The beautiful new style of the 2010 Camaro further captures today’s youth spirit and is a must-have to Camaro collectors nationwide. Many car enthusiasts were anxiously awaiting the release of the new Camaro after its initial production in 2009, and most collectors of some of the older style Camaros did not hesitate to add this new model to their existing collection. This shows that people young and old value the new design and looks as well as the performance of the 2010 Camaro and readily accept this car as the latest and greatest in the Camaro family. The Camaro retains some of its classic muscle-car features but also advanced with the time to accommodate the needs and desires of today’s sports car buyers.
