Here's the ones I'd like to give a shot at:

Turkey Cooking Times
Free Printable Twilight Items
Twilight Coloring Pages
Dora Coloring Pages
Asker's Rating:
• I think overall these were the most clever titles for pages based on things that had been successful from last year. Bringing in massively popular trends like "Dora the Explorer" and "Twilight" is exactly the kind of creative thinking that will lead you to scoring well in search engines.

Hmm... how about 'How to Choose the Best Gift for Christmas Gift-giving'-or maybe something with the similar thought? You know, sometimes it's a bit hard to decide on what to give during the holidays. :)

And oh, 'How to Wrap Gifts' too! ^^

"How to Have a Recession Proof Christmas" (start planning well before Thanksgiving to get the best deals, budget gift ideas, pot-luck holiday dinners where everyone brings a dish, decorating on a dime). If this is chosen, I'd like to be pre-approved to write it too, okay?

I doubt people search for the phrase "recession proof".

But if you can figure out what they do search for, maybe "How to save money on Christmas" or "How to have a cheap Christmas" it may be a big one.

I made Cheap Christmas already, and linked to some of our other existing pages like Cheap Christmas Gifts. But so far, very little traffic.

Something about wrapping presents always befuddles me each Christmas. I can do it but they never come out fantastic, they always come out sort of plain.

I would like to know How to Wrap a Christmas Present so they come out beautiful, striking even too pretty to unwrap (without taking a picture). You know just like they come out when you pay someone at the gift wrapping store at the mall.

Help me Mahalo!

This is a great idea Lon, glad to see the 2008 stats being put to good use and helping the community plan for potential lucrative pages.

A few ideas...

Turkey Alternatives
As not everyone loves Turkey or even can eat Turkey

Why Turkey Makes You Tired?
Though I'm unsure Mahalo does Question-Answer type pages this is something I know I've been in discussions about often and would google round this time of year.

Both Christmas on a Budget and Thanksgiving Dinner on a Budget

because the recession is on many people's minds.

Yule

Though that may be more popular in dec. and the page Winter Solstice does exist, they aren't the same thing exactly. Pagan holidays are seeing a come back.

That's all I can think of atm...

Great list.

Interesting to see how few Christmas topics make the list for Nov! I'd have expected a lot more of them.

But it certainly helps me think up ideas. :)

Seasons Greetings to all.

My suggestion for a page for this time of year and the season is to develop a main page on the diversity of the season, an all inclusive page for a culturally diverse world that informs people of the diversity of the season, the cultural significances of the season, links to pages of stories, traditions, crafts, recipies etc that could also be created on Mahalo.

I suggest a page that is not specific to one tradition or one specific item.

The name I suggest would be simple and easy, also a search term that would be entered and could be easily supported with lots of cross marketing and support. Where ever people are chatting, blogging about the season, mention of Mahalo's "Seasons Greetings" page could be made.

Season’s Greetings is an accepted and highly promoted term this time of year, not only related to the "Christian only" seasonal events. It covers the diversity of the world, the multiculturalism of the world and elevates the season for all. November is the time that the market is gearing for the holiday season and "Seasons Greetings" is a phrase soon to be uttered by many, many people.

I think the page will be successful for Mahalo as well as it will capitalize on the season from a general buying and marketing craze that happens this time of year. Linking to other Mahalo pages related to the season will help promote those pages as well.

Regardless of it winning the choice for the seasons page or not I have requested the creation of a page called "Seasons Greetings" as I believe it will not only be a popular search phrase, and a popular subject, but it will be a lucrative page as well.

I would welcome messages from any and all that are planning specific pages for the season to send me their search phrases to their pages so I can include them in the Mahalo related pages section if I get approval to create the requested page.

Thank you and Seasons Greetings to all.
