Here are some recommendations I located.
Keep in mind, however, I've never had an alcoholic drink in my life, and don't live in LA. But other people seemed to like these places. haha
La Cabana Restaurant
738 Rose Ave , Venice , CA , 90291
Casual Venice crowd flocks well into the wee hours for standard Mexican fare and killer margaritas.
El Chavo
4441 W Sunset Blvd , Los Angeles , CA , 90027-6017
Mayan murals, frosty margaritas and a shrine to Dolly Parton set the stage for Mexican meals.
La Huasteca
www.lahuasteca.com
3150 E Imperial Hwy # 100
Lynwood, CA 90262
El Carmen
8138 W 3rd St - Between Crescent Heights and La Jolla
Los Angeles, CA 90048
323 852-1552
Located in the heart of West Hollywood, El Carmen serves up more than 300 different types of tequila amongst an atmosphere of sophisticated Spanish style.
Cabo Cantina
8301 W Sunset Blvd and Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90069
323 822-7820
If authenticity is on your menu, then Cabo Cantina is your best bet. The quaint and highly festive Mexican bar and grill offers up classic margaritas at extremely low prices, in a laid back, yet fun environment.
