I think that if Andy Murray gets to the final then the Queen is very likely to go and take her place in the Royal Box :) After all Wimbledon is very regal and it's been 32 years now since we had a British player in the finals so it's massive for British sport so I definitely think she will go to it if Murray gets there and I would be surprised if she didn't but if she doesn't a major member or 2 of the Royal family will go to it.
And on Murray's chance of qualifying I think he is 80% likely to get to the final, he is a better player than Roddick and Roddick normally gets beat up bad on his serve against top players so I think Murray will step up to the occasion.

Queen Elizabeth is keeping her diary clear in case British tennis ace Andy Murray makes the men's final at Wimbledon.
The 83-year-old monarch - who has not visited the All England Club since 1977, when Virginia Wade became the last Briton to win a Wimbledon singles title - has purposely kept her schedule for July 5 open so she can cheer Murray on if he makes it into the final.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The Queen doesn't have any official engagements for Sunday. That's all I can say."
The Scottish tennis ace recently revealed he had received a note from the monarch after her won his first grass-court title at the Aegon Championships at The Queen's Club in London earlier this month.
Writing on his Twitter page, the 22-year-old sportsman said: "Got a nice letter from the queen saying well done for winning queen's. Put it in its own pile away from the bills. (sic)"

There is no reason to think the Queen is in poor health, she appears to be keeping up a full schedule of engagements.

Will Her Majesty the Queen attend the finals of Wimbledon on Sunday?
The last time the Queen attended the finals was in 1977 when Virginia Wade won Wimbledon. Andy Murray may be on his way to the famous center court if he beats American, Andy Roddick in the semi-finals. What do you think? Will we see a Brit in the finals and if we do - will we see the Queen?
Photos of great Wimbledon tennis players or of Her Majesty would be nice.

I hope - for her sake - that your hunch is way, way off. She seems to have always enjoyed very good health. Any sources or reason for this feeling you have @morriss003...?

Nope, every now and then I get these hunches. I remember reading something that started me thinking this, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. I hope I'm wrong too.

If this source is to be believed, it looks like a strong possibility if Andy Murray makes the final. http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/royalwatch/news/article_1486558.php/Queen_Elizabeth_might_attend_Wimbledon_finals

Was waiting for you to speak up on behalf of your chosen one... :) Thanks for the source info. Both Roddick and Murray are great players - but I suppose for Britain, I'm rooting for the Scottsman in this match.

Ah... but who *is* my chosen one? :)
Actually I'm fond of three of the four still left in the tournament. Don't know much about Tommy Haas.
But why has no one claimed the Andy Roddick page?
I guess I will look after it, at least for this week. :)
