I wouldn't spend $150 on a phone, Twitter or not. Besides, I can already send and receive tweets with my mobile phone. Twitter has those capabilities already. All you need is a phone number and a Web connection and the ability to confirm the two.
Besides, it's only a matter of time until the Next Big Internet Thing comes along, and then I'll just have an outdated, expensive piece of plastic that nobody will want to buy.

Is it an iphone killer, no. Its not playing in that market. But people who are still using silly things like motorola razrs should consider this as an alternative to allow them to twitter and facebook for a fraction of the cost of a smartphone.

However the phone did have some flaws with constant reboots and pretty poor battery life, but as the phone has come down in price for a Pay as You Go and some software updates it has become more attractive.
The INQ 3G as I have seen it sold in the 3 shops in the UK is the "Twitter Phone" I have not had the chance to play with one but I would if it was free.
If you look at the phones that it is competing with at the price point it has some nice features. It is not a smart phone but a standard phone with some nice features.

Will you pay about $150.00 (without contract) for a Twitter phone?

INQ mobile has produced a Twitter phone and they plan to release this phone before Christmas. INQ twitter phone will be the first in the market to use the internet to send and receive tweets instead of the text messages which we are using now. INQ mobile is also the manufacturer of the Facebook and Skype phone.

Well its been on sale in the UK for the last 18 months... and (depending on the exchange rate) has been a lot less that $150 without a contract (and in the UK it includes Skype to Skype for no extra charge!) Is it an iphone killer, no. Its not playing in that market. But people who are still using silly things like motorola razrs should consider this as an alternative to allow them to twitter and facebook for a fraction of the cost of a smartphone.

The phone for sale in the UK was the INQ1 which was the "Facebook Phone" which was about £99 at first release or free on contract. I had one for a few months and it certainly was not a iPhone or Android killer but it was a very nice phone. Your Facebook contacts synced straight to the phones phonebook along with Skype, MSN and email. However the phone did have some flaws with constant reboots and pretty poor battery life, but as the phone has come down in price for a Pay as You Go and some software updates it has become more attractive.
