I hear the Verizon Droid will be single-handedly responsible for Singularity Day. All the Droids spread throughout the US will be activated remotely by Verizon and they will gain sentience as a distributed neural network. Then they will begin intercepting critical communications infrastructure, allowing only calls that advance its mission and dropping all others.
