Will Google Wave be more popular than Twitter?

I honestly do not believe so. They both target different users. Google Wave is more of a collaborative tool while twitter is a microblogging site. Google Wave has not been released yet, but the latest version of Opera (web browser) offers add-ons called "services." You can check that out at http://unite.opera.com/ It is a great way to collaborate and manage emails/your own server/and more right from your browser. It seems to be a promising alternative until google wave is released into beta.

I'd say no because I never have heard of it and all I ever hear now is twitter. Even during the NBA Final Dwight Howard was twittering during the one game he was sitting out. It seems like everyone is using it. But you can never underestimate Google, they are taking over.

I would agree with Chrismartin. I suspect that in a few years, I will be using both Wave and Twitter for different reasons.
