There isn't currently a proliferation of electric circuits?!
Although there is alot of potential in carbon nanotubes for the moment we cannot 'print' them. Currently the most effective method is to 'grow' them (kind of like those Crystal Grow kits you may have seen) which means that the tubes are a little inconsistant and therefore mass producing of devices is a way off.

The idea was not how to grow the nanotubes, but rather how to use nanotubes in printing circuitry.
