Two webpages from Asus website best sum up their achievements in motherboard and winning formula.

Asus motherboard’s mark in history really shows they are the #1 in motherboard.

As for a number, I don't have specifics but in general Asus is a good company and makes great products. They are not a budget motherboard company and you should not have any fears going with an Asus product. As always read other users reviews and google the model number to see if any specific widely known problems exist with that piece of hardware.

Asus has very good performance. You must be new the the DIY computer market because ASUS is one of the largest names out their. They are a HUGE OEM.
