It looks like there's no cable like that available - you'll need a DVI extension cable.
Also, if your monitor is bigger than 1920x1080 resolution, you'll need a DVI-DL (Dual Link) adapter (that's the one that Apple sells that plugs into both the MDP and USB ports on your MBP. The USB port is used for power - you need to plug both plugs in.)

If you need a Mini-DisplayPort extension cable, they will be available from DataPro in the first week of July:

You can also get an adapter to DVI-D right now, but it may not have the correct gender to plug directly into your monitor:

Where can I find a Mini-Display Port cable?
I have a new Macbook Pro arriving soon and would like to connect it to an external monitor that supports DVI. I would like to have the adapter plugged in behind the monitor, so I need a Mini-Display Port extension cable.
Alternatively, a cable that is more than a few feet long and has a MDP on one end and a DVI on the other would work.

- Fact Refuted
That is the Apple standard adapter, I need the cable that would plug into it on the MDP side.

Alright...plan B...doesn't look like there's many third part yet. http://www.monoprice.com/ usually has some mac alternatives, but all they have are the adapters. Best I can suggest is get an adapter and then a DVI cable.

Miked is absolutely correct; HDMI is not the same as Mini-DisplayPort. If you need a Mini-DisplayPort extension cable, they will be available from DataPro in the first week of July:
