When I insert a .jpg file into a Word document, it does not display on the document.?
I am using INSERT, PICTURE, FROM FILE, and selecting a jpeg file from my hard drive. I tried copying and pasting, and that does the same thing. I also tried a GIF file and the same thing happens.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Drawings"
box and uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box | OK. If the problem
persists, then reduce or turn off hardware acceleration in your display
driver by clicking on Start | Control Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced and its under TroubleShooting.
