When does Evernote get handwriting support so I can send in a photo of my moleskine pages and Evernote OCRs them?

Evernote already does have handwriting support, although they only use it to make your handwritten text searchable. They won't OCR a picture of your moleskine and turn them into a text note: instead they leave it as a picture, but one that appears when you search on any words written in it.

They have not mentioned any plans at the moment to offer this as a feature.

If you find that text in your pictures is not being found in searches, then two suggestions:

You might need to wait a while, as the handwriting recognition takes time.
You might find you're using a cameraphone etc. that has trouble focusing closely enough to get a goo picture of the text.

Great answer and source. You sound like you have experience, not sure if it is just good research.

Ach, you're crazy, @mysterygirl89, this is a fantastic answer! I often prefer personal experience and knowledge OVER research. ;)

Well, I'm a heavy user of Evernote - I use it to handle not just my GTD Lists but also as a general scrapbook of neat stuff I find on the web and want to keep.
So its mostly experience, but as with a lot of my answers here, I back it up with research - reading the documentation and forums - to make sure that there's not something I'm missing.
The cool thing is, if my research shows that I'm wrong about something - well then not only is my answer better, but *I've* learnt something new!
