I don't use PSP Photo X2.. I use Paint Shop Pro 7.04.

One of the best features of Paint Shop Pro in my opinion is the tube feature. Any image can be made into a tube then it can be easily scaled and moved when placed on its own layer.

There are thousands of free tubes online for all different kinds of topics...

I've used tubes to make perfect scaled down images for logos and other applications without the problems you can run into when scaling without this feature. Edges are perfectly smooth, even on curves.

The tube tool is designed to also be used to make a continuous line of a repeated image... using it this way can allow perfect coils, for example.

And you can have multiple tubes in one tube file. This allows for random tubes for one subject, like different colored butterflies, for example.

The Corel Site has this to say about the Tube feature in the latest version (X2):
"Picture Tubes

Decorate your photos with 30 new sets of professionally designed artistic elements. A longtime user favorite, this tool lets you paint on photos with ready-made art that features a variety of themes. For example, add butterflies and beetles to a picnic setting or fill an aquarium with fish."

That description really doesn't give the tool justice... =)
