I eliminated Carbonite because they had an incident where they lost data for many customers. I considered Mozy and Backblaze, but wound up using SafeCopy http://www.safecopybackup.com. It is not unlimited (150GB or 250GB), but backing up terabytes online is impractical anyway because of the speed,. It does support Windows and Mac, and Linux support is in beta. Most importantly to me, it lets you back up anything without additional charges - multiple computers, external hard drives, etc. Most services charge per machine.

I looked around and didn't find a perfect one. The main drawback to most of them is that upload speeds are slow, so your initial backups can take weeks depending on how long you are backing up. Most of them are relatively new with Mac support, so the software is not as good as it will be later. I eliminated Carbonite because they had an incident where they lost data for many customers. Actually a really great online backup system is ibackup. I have used it for small businesses I have worked at and the upload and download speeds are pretty reasonable. Hope this helps.
