Pandora internet radio is a part of a project called the Music Genome Project. You can create a profile that suits your prefernces by creating "radio stations" based on a song title, artist or genre and the program will automatically play for you that music (if available) and other songs and artists that are similar. You can have multiple stations. You can also approve or disapprove of songs and the program will play more like the ones that you approve and stop playing the ones you don't like.
