Jumper 2.0, is an open source web application script for the enterprise Intranet developed by Jumper Networks, Inc. It was publicly announced on 29 September 2008,1. A stable version of Jumper (version 2.0.1.1) was publicly released under the GNU General Public License and was made available on Sourceforge on 26 March 2009 as a free software download.2.

Jumper is Enterprise 2.0 software that allows its users to discover, describe, link, and rate structured data and unstructured data sources, including relational databases, flat file databases, medical imaging, and any network file system.3 It is an interactive, user-submitted recommendation engine which uses peer and social-networking principles to reference data in distributed storage devices in a single representation and capture the knowledge about that data.
