On September 26th 2004 the New York Times reported that US Airways, Bradford PAs only service provider was possibly cutting service to the area and that would force the 10,000 residents to use another airport. The nearest one being almost an hour away.

Now this might not be the reason, I'm merely speculating after a bit of research.
The New York Times has a lot of readers and this article about US Airways, its bankruptcy protection and the airlines cutting cities from it's service list might have caused many full and part time residents and visitors to search Google for more information on re-routing of flights, other alternatives to air travel or basic curiosity.

As you can see Bradford PA is in the middle of several busy major cities and quite possibly might be a real consideration for travelers moving between them.
