Search for celebrity-twitter sites, and you'll find that there's a lot of people you can follow through there.

Just a couple to mention: If you have a blog, Twitterfeed will post your posts as specified by you to Twitter as well as identi.ca and Ping.fm. And then if you're new to Twitter (like me), Twitterholic shows you the stats of the most-followed Twitterers and allows you to compare yours with them. It mainly shows you who to follow and emulate in the Twittersphere...

twitter.grader.com - Good place to both find out how you rate, also you can pickup people to follow in your general area.

mrtweet.net - Another good place to find followers and people to follow. It uses some kind of system to analyze people your currently following and make suggestions of people you should follow.

www.hahlo.com - Great site for mobile twitter usage.
