I have a macbook and i do like OSX, i do have to say im not a huge fan of the computers itself. They are pricey, the mac sales people sell you on the cool factor, they told me it never crashes or freezes, and well of course it does... its a computer. They told me to get the 3 year warranty so it covers my battery if it loses its charge, and well they wont honor it. They just told me batteries are NOT covered.
All in all wait for Windows 7 with the dell 10 inch computer. Windows 7 is suppose to be pretty good. OSX is pretty sweet too but not all programs work on it.

I would say go for the Dell Mini. It is a lot cheaper and most people use their notebook computers for web surfing/facebook/email anyway.
