What happened to the window on the mahalo homepage? Is page management still a useable feature?

Page management is still a usable feature. In fact, @lon just yesterday presented a preview of Mahalo 3.0, which focuses on page management improvements. Mahalo 3.0 is scheduled for release this weekend. I'd assume the popular search box ran into a bug or it was being spammed with inappropriate / spammy searches.
