NetNewsWire for mac, FeedDemond for windows, both from the same developer. I like NetNewsWire because almost the entire interface is navigatible by arrow keys, handy for quickly skimming. Also, it syncs all the feeds and which stories I've read through NewsGator to my computers and iTouch. So that way you'll get all your feeds on your computer, ipod, or a computer at work through the NewsGator site.
