Is there sync ability in the iPhone SDK?

I'm trying to program an application that sits both on an iPhone and the desktop. Is there the ability to sync a data file between an iPhone and the desktop?

Code examples would be most helpful (and probably get you an extra tip)!

I don't see any sync services yet. You should file a feature request bug report with Apple. This is obviously something they need. I imagine they're working on it already, but you know apple.. they use duplicate bug reports as a voting mechanism.

These articles did not answer the question about programming sync capability. They only identified other programs that can sync.

You'll have to roll your own in iPhone 2.0. I've been coding one out that combines versioning with the modification dates. Apparently in iPhone 3.0 there is a sync service, but I don't believe its been documented yet.
