1. Close all running programs
2. Click Start - Control Panel
3. Click Add or Remove Programs.
4. In the list, click on Windows Internet Explorer 8, and then click Remove.
5. Follow the prompt to remove IE8.
6. Restart your computer when the uninstall process has finished.

If you are referring to going back go IE7 after IE8 installation, please follow this instruction provided by Microsoft for Windows XP. For other operating system, it is also available from the same link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700
1. Close all running programs
2. Click Start - Control Panel
