Do you have an administrative assistant? Perhaps you could have them send an email on your behalf and then enter the responses.
If you don't have an administrative assistant, let me know. I could use the work. You can pay me in Mahalo $$ ;-)

Is there a program that will allow my contacts to update their information in my address book?
I have a bunch of contacts that are nicely organized in Outlook 2007.
Ideally, I'm looking for an outlook addin, self-hosted web based program, or stand alone windows program that will send an e-mail to each of my contacts asking them if the information I have on record is accurate and if not, to update it. Then, the user submitted updates will be automatically updated in Outlook.
I've heard of Plaxo (http://www.plaxo.com/) but my contacts are very important to me. I don't want to take any sort of a risk that the personal information they've trusted me with could be comprimized. I also don't want to use a 3rd party service because I don't want folks to think that I've given their information to some random company - trust is very important to me. So long story short, self hosted web apps are ok... 3rd party isn't.
Anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this?

I can't find an add-in for Outlook to accomplish this (go figure). Do you have an administrative assistant? Perhaps you could have them send an email on your behalf and then enter the responses.

Actually I am not sure I understood the question properly. According to me, the below Microsoft website should solve the problem. http://www.office-addins.com/-outlook-addins/actual-contacts-for-outlook.html

Tried this one too, Karj.
Sadly, the program said that I was missing an OCX when I ran it. I tried to download the OCX but could only find a version for Server 2003. It says it's compatable with 98, XP, Vista, etc... but I've got a no-go here :(
I've shot you a tip for your help with this. I'm still searching for an answer though so if you come across any other way for me to do this, I sure would be appreciative.

This seems like something that a lot of folks would have thought about before. There must be something.
Last month, I hired someone from elance to send the e-mails on my behalf, update my address book, etc. However, I would like to start doing this regularly (maybe once every 6 months) with my contacts to ensure that my information is accurate.
I'm really looking for something automated.
If I do end up having to hire out though, Newbey, I'll ask you first. Thanks for the offer. But a bit of geeky automation here is really needed.
Just curious. ~
