Hi Chalovina,
Your concern is understandable; however, you do not have to worry about your Ad sense account being "safe." It is perfectly okay to drive traffic to your site with ad words and have ad sense running at the same time.
In fact I'm sure Google prefers this since they are likely to make more money off that kind of set up. With this in mind you may want to reconsider. If you are willing to pay for traffic to your site then I am going to guess you are either selling something or find some monetary value in each visit to your site. This means you have relavant content you want each visitor to see.
If you have adsense in your site then it is just one more spot that a visitor can drop out of your site at. It is also likely that the money you will make from Adsense is going to be less than the cost of the initial click that brought you that visitor. Because of this you may find it more profitable to drive traffic and refine the visitor click path, which will increase your conversion rate ( the percent value of clicks to conversion) which will increase your profitability.
I sum, its ok to do it but you may want to reconsider.
Best of luck,
Matt
