i want to find a guide on how to run some ethernet wires threw my house.

I am trying to run wired internet from my back room rougher to one or two more rooms in the house by running the wires up the walls and threw the attic.

There's not much to it. You set up the wall mounts much like telephone mounts, and have the wires run out to your router. Just make sure not to exceed the maximum recommended length of the cable (up to 100 ft, depending on cable quality and interference). You may find that you need to install a repeater.

I suggest you head to a major home improvement store like Home Deport or Lowe's, they have lots of books and professional advice on the subject of wiring!

Doubt you'll need a repeater. Just make sure you keep UTP ethernet (unshilelded) away from transformers, light fixtures, and major electrical appliances.

According to Wikipedia your good for about 100 meters which seems about right from what I remember from my past studies.

It is pretty straight forward, but it can be difficult if you've never done it before. I found this great article on Engadget that has lots of pictures.
