There are a number of crimes you can commit on Mafia Wars to get yourself money and experience points. One of them is the bank heist. That is a lucrative one, giving you 15 experience points and you only need 10 energy points to perform it. In addition, it gives you about $4000-6000.

To rob someone, click on the "fight" link at the top of the page, between "jobs" and "property." When the fighting page comes up, click on the "Robbing" link, which should be right under the "Godfather" link.

When you attack somebody, occasionally you will kill them. Likewise, when they attack you, sometimes they will kill you. When you rack up kills, it adds to your "mobsters whacked" tally. When they kill you, it adds to your "deaths" tally.

Really fun game, I have to say. Very addictive.
